Welcome to the website of the Urban School Counseling Collaborative (USCC). We are in partnership with the Urban Education Collaborative at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The USCC was formed in Fall 2016 to advocate for professional school counselors, support local urban schools, and contribute empirically-based research to improve the field. The members of the collaborative team are either former school counselors or counselor educators with a dedication to creating services and opportunities for all students. The goal of the collaborative is to inform school counseling practices that improve the academic, postsecondary and social/emotional experiences of our urban students.
